Brevard players plentiful on Class 5A all-state football list – Florida Today

District 8-5A was as tough as advertised in high school football in 2021, at least according to the Class 5A all-state football list produced by FloridaHSFootball.
Merritt Island’s defense produced yet another big season, and linebacker Aaron Session earned first-team recognition along with defensive back Julius Bennett. Mustangs receiver Dallas Donahue was named to the Class 5A first team offense, as were tight end Bridger Koby and offensive lineman John Mark Buccio.

Brady Denaburg, who quarterbacked, punted and kicked for the team, was the first-team utility player. Linebacker Maddox Moss was named to the second-team defense.
Satellite had its best season ever, and Gage Malkin was named the second-team quarterback, while Eddie Combs III made it as a receiver. Scorpions offensive lineman Corbin Conley made the third team.
Rockledge’s Rian Black was picked as a third-team receiver, and teammate Bryce Lovett was a third-team offensive lineman. Linebacker Nate Lopez and defensive back Jaylen Howard also made the third team from the program.
Players from Brevard receiving honorable mention in 5A were Rockledge running back L.J. Watkins, Palm Bay running back Octavion Osby and Satellite’s Vady Clark as a utility player.
