verton vs Boreham Wood LIVE!
Salomon Rondon scored twice as Premier League Everton eventually beat fifth-tier Boreham Wood 2-0 in their FA Cup fifth-round clash at Goodison Park.
Everton, who will travel to Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals, made their Ukraine left back Vitali Mykolenko captain and fielded a much-changed team against the National League side.
They were frustrated until the 57th minute when Jonjoe Kenny slid in a low cross for Rondon to score at the near post, and the Venezuelan netted his second late on with a header.
In between those goals, Richarlison was denied by VAR after it was deemed he had handled before bundling the ball over the line.

In the other quarter-finals, Liverpool will travel to Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield Town and Chelsea go to giant-killers Middlesbrough. Southampton host Manchester City in an all-Premier League clash.
Here’s how all the action happened at Goodison Park with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog below…
Boreham Wood’s bid to become only the second non-league side in the modern era to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup came up short as they were beaten 2-0 by Everton at Goodison Park.
A night when the football did not particularly inspire was better summed up by two ovations; that given to Everton’s Ukrainian captain for the night Vitaliy Mykolenko and the one 1,800 travelling Wood fans stayed behind to give their side as their historic cup run came to an end, the club having already become just the tenth to reach this stage of English football’s oldest cup competition while playing outside its Football League.
A mere 78 places separated the two teams but only Salomon Rondon’s double did likewise on the night, the second of which, six minutes from time, finally killed off Luke Garrard’s spirited side, though in truth, even at 1-0 they rarely threatened to find a leveller.

Everton 2-0 Boreham Wood
The Toffees are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, where they will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. Just one match away from Wembley now.
Boreham Wood kept Everton at bay for nearly an hour, they can take plenty of pride from their performance. But the dream run comes to an end.
90+2 mins: Rondon desperately wants his hat-trick, flicks a header at goal but can’t generate enough pace and it’s easily saved.
Looks like he’ll have to settle for a brace tonight.
90 mins: Boreham Wood also making some changes, Nile Ranger one of those coming on.
Richarlison to take the free-kick… can’t get it up and down and it’s never troubling Ashby-Hammond.
Three minutes added on.
88 mins: Dobbin immediately looking to be positive, Boreham Wood looking extremely tired now.
Allan curls an effort towards the far corner, headed away. Coleman is then brought down right on the edge of the box by Stevens.
Two more Everton subs. Allan and Keane off, Price and Welch on.
86 mins: Lampard gives Dobbin a few minutes with the result pretty much in the bag. Gordon comes off.
Looks like there will be a couple more players introduced very shortly too…
84 mins: Wonderful tackle from Rees, who slides in at just the right time to stop Richarlison getting a shot away inside the box.
Corner swung in… AND IT’S THE SECOND GOAL OF THE NIGHT!
Ashby-Hammond desperately tried to claw Rondon’s header away, but after a brief delay and a look at his watch, the referee awards the goal.
82 mins: Kenny flies forward on the left, he’s had an impressive night in three different positions. Cross in isn’t his best this time though.
Everton comfortably seeing this match out as it stands.
79 mins: It is non-stop pressure on the Boreham Wood goal.
Allan wants it played across to him, Gordon decides to go for the long-distance strike instead. High and wide.
Everton completely dominant… but it’s still only 1-0.
