West Ham allegedly dealt worst possible news ahead of Liverpool, massive blow for David Moyes – Hammers News – West Ham United FC

West Ham United allegedly could be without Declan Rice for this evening’s clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
Rumours began to circulate on Twitter earlier today that the 23-year-old Hammers ace is suffering with an illness and hasn’t actually traveled to Merseyside.
And now Claret and Hugh reckon that there is a good chance that the midfielder won’t be available for selection for today’s game against Liverpool.
Dec has been quite simply sensational for the Hammers so far this season.
Rice is far and away West Ham’s best player. David Moyes trusts the 23-year-old implicitly and the England international acts as the Scot’s on-field lieutenant.
It seems like we may have to make do without our talisman against Liverpool this afternoon though…
The all-action midfielder is apparently suffering from illness and is a huge doubt for this afternoon’s game at Anfield (Claret and Hugh).
That is obviously really bad news for the Hammers.
Rice makes us tick and is absolutely vital to everything that we do.
The England international has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season and he has proven himself to be an elite Premier League player.
Having him unavailable for today’s game will be an absolute disaster.
Against Liverpool, we will spend most of the afternoon chasing the ball. Declan Rice is one of the very best that there is in world football at breaking up the opposition’s play through the middle of the park.
If we had any chance of beating Liverpool today, Declan Rice would have had to have one of the best games of his short career to date.
West Ham will seemingly have to get the job done without our star man, however. And that is a huge blow to David Moyes, the players and the fans ahead of what could be a very tough evening at Anfield.
