Florida State football is back
It was a back and forth battle between offense and defense today and both sides were extremely competitive. Freshman cornerback Azareye’h Thomas showcased his skill and really stood out on a few different plays in the 7 on 7 drills. He came down with a nice interception paired with a couple of pass breaks ups in the following series.
The stand outs today in 11 on 11 were quarterback Tate Rodemaker, wide receivers Keyshawn Helton, Micah Pittman, and Joshua Burrell. At one point in practice Rodemaker launched a 20-yard bomb into tight coverage over the shoulder of Burrell to complete the team erupting pass.
A plethora of former players made it out to the spring debut including Asante Samuel Jr, Marvin Wilson, Gabe Nabers, Joshua Kaindoh, Hamsah Nasirildeen, Janarius Robinson Asante Samuel Jr., Rick Leonard, Christian Jones, Everrett Brown, and Cam Erving.
Four-star quarterback and Florida State commit Chris Parson was very active and soaking everything in. Multiple times he could be seen highfiving receivers and celebrating with his future teammates.
